SIMAD University provides both undergraduate and graduate programs to pupils. You will find 9 undergraduate programs namely Language Skill Programs, Faculty of Management Sciences, Faculty of Computing, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Medicine and Health Science, and Faculty of Engineering. The University recently introduced an advanced English Language Training program for students. It's an in-sessional program quite well-structured offering in-sessional or concurrent English for overall academic purposes to students whilst they choose their major courses.

To be able to take admission from the university the requirement that each student should bring are secondary school completion with general minimum average of 65 percent for women and 70 percent for boys, should provide copy and a first of secondary certification, six passport size photographs only white background is accepted, first secondary college letter of good conduct issued by the faculty, a letter of sponsorship letter in the guardian, should pass entrance test or entrance interview, and should pay ID card charges and non refundable processing.
